Slacker Syle

Well, seeing how this year is over in 3 weeks, I have decided to use this blog thing finally. So much has gone on this year so this will be a quick synopsis of Southern06. Slacker style, I know.

These are from a weekend expedition to Tiffany Foley's house. A big crew when to her place in GA and watched a Braves Game.

Next stop is the great outdoors. This was a very fun Sabboth hiking trip with who we like to call the "couples crew" no condecending intended, just that most of this crew is well... couples. Here it is, Freeze Falls.
Can't forget our first camping trip of the year. If you haven hear the whole story about this campout, the "sitting behind the tree with a knife" picture won't make sence. Ask me about it some time. It's a good story.

Almost half way throught the year. That means my birthday! yah! I had a billion finals that day so we just went to Olive garden for a nice lunch. These are a few of my birthday friends.

Brendon (my roomie), Jeremy(my buddy), Monica(Ry's girlfiend)

Alison(my laughing buddy), Dusty(my roomie 3years running! yah i love that guy)

Sam(Brendon's friend from CA), Brittany(Grant Grave's sister), Lessie(Ry's girlfriend's friend)

Brittany(A&P buddy) Danny(Yes, the famous Danny)

This was the craziest snow day that I've ever experienced at Southern. It was so awesome. Unfortunately, it only lasted for half a day.

How cool is Wright hall in the snow!

My beloved roomate and me enjoying this rare event.

The night of Super Heros.

This little stunt I pulled has given me a perminant label from many Southern students. People that I don't even know and some that I do still, to this day, know me as spiderman.

There was a time when I had to respond to that more than my own name! This was the Southern dodge ball tournament. We made it to the championship, but were not able to pull it off. We had fun nuntheless.

The spiderman suite was Bad! It was intended for 7 to 10 year-olds and one described it as " leaving nothing to the imagination" yah. I still don't know what posesed me to do such a stupid thing.

The Super Heros memebers

Jeffery Lamberton as "Some Super Hero Guy"
Aaron Vizcarra as "Spiderman"
Danny Lamberton as "Batman"
Dustin Billington as "Mr. Incredible"
Brittany Graves as "Cat Woman"
Kelly Leaper as "Mighty Mouse"

Some might be wondering why there as been no pictures of Victoria, my beautifu partner in crime. That's because she's 3,000,000,000,000 miles away this year, at WWC. What a vital part of my life has been missing this year, but here is one of those precious few times that we have been able to spend this year.
Welcome to the coolest room in the dorm. At least thats what the Judges of Talge Hall Open House said after they visited what we like to call "The Mansion" Our room this year is huge! We decided to put a little time into decorating and it ended up paying off. I must say that the pictures don't do it justice.

The West Wing

Brendon and Dustin with a bunch of guests, a bunch of girl guests.

It was no secret that Brendon was livin it up that night. Haha

The East Wing

Ya for little brothers!! Especially the ones that come to visit you for home-leave.

This was one of the coolest weeks of the year when a bunch of the siblings came to Southern to check it out for themselves and hang with the college kids.

Now getting a little more recent. This was a couple weeks ago. This is the residence of Dusty's cousins. It was a hoot of a time, lots of good food to eat and lots of good laughs.

Can't get much better than a traditional weenie roast and smores

Me, The Duster, Brittany, and Kelly Jo

Now we are to the here and now. This was this last weekend, another "lost boys" adventure.

First, we stopped at this camp site because Dusty had been there a couple weeks before and decided to cut down a tree....This is a National Forest! Anyways, long story short, his 2 options were to go to jail and post bond or come back and plant a 40 dollar Dog Wood tree. We all thought the latter would be the better of the 2.

This would be our home for a whole night. It was a cliff actually. It looked over an entire river valley, super gorgeous!

Day light ends on Pride Rock

But the night has just begun

morning glory. What a scene to wake up to on a Sabboth morning. It is stuff like this that makes you feel stupid for ever doubting intellegent design.

This rock cliff was the very bedding we used for the night.

Every camping trip should include a nice noon swim with Arnold Brendon Swarzeneggar!

A Fresh Start

Since Aaron can't find the time and/or energy to start his blog, then I took the liberty of starting it for him. Now all I need is a little PR to get him going.
